Why Kane may stay put at Tottenham
With the Premier League tournament for this season over and Man City declared winner, football clubs across Europe will await the commencement of the summer transfer window so as to make some signings.
In the case of Kane, the England international had been in the news over the past few days after he declared his intentions to leave North London over failure to win a trophy.
Kane had said he wants to remain in England and has been linked with moves to Man City, Man Utd and Chelsea with all three clubs showing interest to sign him.
However, there are indications that Kane may decide to stay at the North London club for one more season to see what would happen.
This is as a result of Tottenham Hotspur getting a spot in the newly created European league called the UEFA Conference League.
The new league which is a third-grade European league is expected to be less competitive and could see the Hotspurs clinch their first title next season.
Failure to do so then could see them lose Kane to another club.
In another report, Kane ended this season as the highest goal scorer in the Premier league scoring a total of 23 goals.
