Werner linked with moves to Real Madrid
Chelsea forward and Germany international, Timo Werner has been linked with moves to Real Madrid this summer.
Even though Werner is struggling to find the back of the net at Stamford Bridge, Real Madrid new manager, Carlo Ancelotti however considers him valuable.
Fichajes reports that Ancelotti is keen to bring Werner to the Santiago Bernabeu with the German believed to be on the list of forwards being targeted by the coach as the Los Blancos continue their search for a long-term replacement for Karim Benzema.
Recall that Werner moved to Chelsea from RB Leipzig last summer in a deal worth £47 million during the reign of Frank Lampard.
Before moving to the West London club, Werner had spent four seasons with RB Leipzig, during which he scored 95 goals in 159 appearances in all competitions for the German side.
His pace and movement with the ball made him one of the most exciting prospects ahead of the 2020-21 season.
Despite his not so good performance last season, he won the Champions League title with the Blues led by Thomas Tuchel.
With Chelsea already making moves to sign a new striker this summer, there are indications that they could sign the German out permanently or loan him out to get more experience.
