Tuchel hails Kante as he hit landmark of 250 appearances for Chelsea

Chelsea manager Thomas Tuchel has hailed France international N’Golo Kante as he reached a milestone of 250 appearances for the Blues over the weekend in their game vs Brentford.

Kante has been impressive for the Blues over the last few months this season as he produced commanding displays during the game vs Lille in the Champions League and game against Burnley.

Tuchel, in a statement, said he feels lucky to be able to train the 31-year-old midfielder day in, day out.

‘It has been 250 times a pure joy to watch him. Of course, it is pure joy and luck to be his coach because he is a fantastic guy and player,’ the boss says.

‘He is so unique, and I don’t know anybody that doesn’t love him, even friends and family, friends who support other teams, they all love N’Golo Kante. There is a reason for this.’

Kante is expected to start for the Blues when they host Real Madrid on Wednesday night in the UCL.
