Tottenham show interest in Chelsea star

Tottenham Hotspur have reportedly shown interest in Chelsea star Ziyech Hakim this summer.

While the North London side have signed seven players to their squad this summer, they are still looking to make further signings before the transfer window closes.

The Hotspurs had earlier been linked with moves for AS Roma midfielder Nicolo Zaniolo, but since he decided to remain in Serie A, Tottenham had been forced to focus on other alternatives.

According to Algemeen Dagblad, Tottenham have identified Ziyech as a possible target, with the Moroccan currently out of favour in the Thomas Tuchel-led squad.

Ziyech didn’t play in Chelsea’s first two Premier League games this season and only featured for less than half an hour in their 3-0 defeat to Leeds United last weekend.

Aside from Tottenham, the 29-year-old has been linked with a return to his former club Ajax.

Chelsea are likely to let Ziyech move to the Dutch club that join their premier league rivals.
