Ronaldo heaps praise at Man Utd’s arch rivals

Al Nassr forward and Portuguese star Cristiano Ronaldo has caused a buzz after he hailed Manchester United’s arch-rivals, Manchester City’s football.

Recall that Ronaldo was strongly linked with a move to Etihad Stadium in the summer of 2021 before he opted for a return to Old Trafford.

The Portuguese has now applauded the Premier League champions, who are also the current holders of the Champions League.

“Manchester City did amazing. Congratulations on their season! Players, coach. Superb.

“Finally, they won the Champions League; they probably deserved it two years ago. I enjoy seeing them playing,” Ronaldo said.

Man City were named best club at the Ballon d’Or awards, while manager Pep Guardiola proudly clinched the FIFA Best Manager of the Year this week.

Meanwhile, Man City’s top form seem to have dipped in the Premier League in their past few Premier League games.
