Reports: Liverpool eyeing 25-year-old Premier League star

Liverpool are reportedly eyeing Wolverhampton Wanderers forward Adama Traore that could cost the club just £25million.

Traore has become one of the most deadliest attacker in the Premier League and managers have been consistent in heaping praise on him.

With Xherdan Shaqiri reported to be on his way out of Liverpool, the reds are eager to add another big name to their squad that will compete with the likes of Mo Salah, Sadio Mane, Roberto Firmino and Diogo Jota.

Liverpool tried to persuade Traore’s current club Wolverhampton Wanderers with a deal less than £60million last summer but the deal didn’t fall through.

However, table have turned this year as Liverpool are now trying to bring the player to Anfield in a £25million deal, according to the Daily Star.

According to reports, Jurgen Klopp is a great admirer of Traore who contributed only 6 goals from 41 appearances last season, quite a drop from when he contributed to 18 goals in the 2019/20 season.

Tottenham Hotspur are also another club linked with Traore as Nuno Espirito Santo is also trying to reunite with his former player.
