Reports: England star lands in Manchester ahead of £100 million move to Manchester City
Manchester City are reportedly on the verge of completing a deal for current Aston Villa captain, Jack Grealish for a fee £100 million.
Jack Grealish has been linked with Manchester City ever since the transfer window opened but the deal was held back due to City’s interest in Harry Kane.
Harry Kane is willing to leave Tottenham Hotspur this season but Manchester City have failed to agree a transfer fee with Tottenham’s chairman, Daniel Levy.
It has now been confirmed by several sources over the weekend that City had officially submitted a British-record bid for Grealish.
The deal is reportedly worth £100 million and it will surpasse the £89 million spent by Manchester United on Paul Pogba in 2016.
New update about the deal has now revealed that Grealish has landed in Manchester ahead of his medical on Thursday morning.
Manchester City will reportedly announce his arrival ahead of their first competitive fixture of the new campaign.
Jack Grealish is reportedly going to earn upwards of £200,000-per-week at Manchester City and will also be playing in the Champions League.
