One signing Man Utd must complete before deadline

Former Manchester United star, Michael Owen has send a message to the Red Devils about their plans before the summer window closes.

Owen named the area his old club need to bolster before the end of the month.

While the Red Devils have already sealed some deals this summer including  signing the likes of defender Leny Yoro and attacker Joshua Zirkzee to Old Trafford Owen wants Erik ten Hag’s side to sign another striker before the deadline.

Owen while speaking on Casino Hawks said Manchester United suffered a dearth of goal scorers in recent years so bringing in a talented player won’t go amiss there.

The former footballer believes Man Utd will need a player who’s going to score plenty of goals like Ruud van Nistelrooy, Robin van Persie and Wayne Rooney among others down the years

“At the moment you can only look at what Zirkzee has done so far and watch this space with him, it isn’t just having another body of quality up there but I think it will be a positive for Manchester United,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Red Devils are reported to be working on making some new additions as they prepare to compete for trophies next season.
