Mount reacts to his hat trick after Chelsea 7-0 win vs Norwich City

Chelsea star and England international Mason Mount for the man of the match for the Blues during their weekend game vs Norwich City.

Despite not having their two strikers Timo Werner and Romelu Lukaku, available for the match, Chelsea demolished Norwich in a 7-0 scoreline, with Mount scoring a hat-trick.

Following his recent feat, Mount, in a post-match statement, has described his hat-trick against Norwich City as ‘special’, as he added that he would remember it for a long time.

Mount scored three goals, Callum Hudson-Odoi, Reece James, Ben Chilwell gave the Blues one goal each, while an own goal from Max Aarons gave Thomas Tuchel’s men all three points against Norwich.

Speaking after the game, Mount said at his post-match press conference: “Before the game, I put pressure on myself to get on the scoresheet as it’s been a long time.

“Then three come around in one game. It’s a massive moment for me to get three. I’ll remember this for a long time.

“I was always getting in the positions to score, I just wasn’t putting them away. Today I did. It was my luck today, and the team. It’s not just about me.

“For me, it’s a big moment to score three at Stamford Bridge. It’s special.”
