Midfielder attempts to force move to Chelsea
Brighton midfielder Moises Caicedo is said to be attempting to force his move away from the club after missing training on Monday.
The report revealed Caicedo was absent during Brighton’s final pre-season tie against Rayo Vallecano on Sunday, as the club claimed that the Ecuador star was sidelined due to a hamstring injury.
On the hand, Chelsea, have seen their bids for Caicedo rejected by Brighton for including an offer of £80million which was turned down last week.
A report via Relevo revealed Caicedo is hoping to push for a move to Stamford Bridge this week by missing Monday’s training session.
Further report revealed the midfielder has also removed his belongings from Brighton’s training ground.
Brighton, however, are keen on not letting the 21-year-old leave the club unless their £100m asking price is met.
They believe he should get the same offer that Arsenal had to pay West Ham for Declan Rice this summer transfer window.
