Manchester United set to meet with highly rated midfielder representatives next week
Premier League side Manchester United are set to meet with the representative of Lille’s midfielder Eduardo Camavinga over a potential move to Old Trafford.
Manchester United have been linked with top players ever since the transfer window opened; Jadon Sancho has been tipped as their top priority.
However, they are also reportedly willing to add more quality to their midfield department, and Eduardo Camavinga has been tipped as their preferred candidate.
According to RMC Sport, Eduardo Camavinga, an 18-year-old, might become a United player next season if talks with his representative come out fruitful.
Though the reports claimed Eduardo Camavinga’s prefers to move to Paris Saint-Germain, Manchester United are eager to persuade him.
Camavinga has scored twice and provided five assists in 82 appearances for Lille in all competitions, including one goal and three assists in 39 outings last term.
The Red Devils will, however, have to convince him to move to Old Trafford instead of France as PSG wouldn’t let him slip away from them quickly.
Also, the preliminary decision lies with the player on which club he would love to ply his trade with next season.
We will have to wait to see how this will end.
With his contract with Lille set to expire next June, there are chances Camavinga will have the edge when it comes to discussing his future with the Ligue 1 side.
If Camavinga ends up joining Manchester United, he will be competing with Bruno Fernandez, Paul Pogba and Fred, who are currently in the best form of their career.
