Man Utd’s Maguire and two others leave England squad ahead of game Vs Belgium
The Football Association, FA, in a recent statement confirmed that Kyle Walker and Harry Maguire have exited the England camp with injuries.
Maguire and Walker, along with goalkeeper Sam Johnstone, will return to their respective clubs for further assessment.
Recall that Walker was substituted in the 20th minute against Brazil on Saturday night, after appearing to injure his hamstring.
Maguire on the other hand lasted 67 minutes in the same game, before he was replaced by Lewis Dunk.
These withdrawals are latest blow on England team led by manager, Gareth Southgate, as they have already seen Harry Kane and Bukayo Saka pull out of the squad.
Kane, who was in the stands during England’s defeat to Brazil on Saturday, had linked up with the squad ahead of the game despite picking up an ankle injury in Bayern Munich’s win over Darmstadt before the international break.
