Man Utd midfielder reveals why he joined Everton
Man Utd midfielder Donny van de Beek in a recent statement, has revealed the real reason for joining Everton.
This comes as Everton new manager Frank Lampard signed Van de Beek to Everton on Monday.
The Dutch midfielder, in his statement, stressed that he joined the Toffees because he wants them to be successful in the Premier League.
He added that he wants to bring quality football to Everton.
“I want to show my qualities, my strengths, to the people in England – but especially the fans from Everton,” Van de Beek told Everton’s official website after the loan move was confirmed on Monday.
He added: “Now I can say I am an Everton player, I am really happy and can’t wait to help the team.
“I think it is a great club… there are really good players here and I came because I want to help them go up the table.
“I hope to bring my football qualities, my passing, and, of course, scoring goals.”
Van de Beek will hope to get regular playing chances at Everton as he struggled to play at Old Trafford since joining them from Ajax.
