Man Utd midfielder hails Mount

Manchester United midfielder Christian Eriksen has applauded the club’s summer signing Mason Mount who moved to Old Trafford from Chelsea.

Eriksen in a statement applauded Mount’s qualities as he said he the midfielder would use his experience to help the Red Devils win more trophies next season.

Before his transfer to Old Trafford, Mount helped Chelsea lift the Champions League in 2021 under their former manager Thomas Tuchel.

Eriksen, who is going to be directly affected by Mount’s arrival, especially in terms of game chances, has shared his thoughts on the club’s move for the Chelsea academy graduate.

“I think he’s been taken very good care of,” Eriksen told MUTV.

“I mean, I think everyone knows his qualities and he’s definitely a player that will add to our team in a very positive way.

“I definitely hope he will bring that [experience] and I’m sure he will.”

Meanwhile, Mount was in action for the Red Devils during their game against Real Madrid.
