Man City go 17 points clear after win vs. Fulham
It looks like Manchester City are on their way to winning the English Premier League title this season.
Man City has been at the top of the table for some while and they further affirm their hold as the topper following their recent win vs. Fulham on Saturday.
The Citizens won all three points vs. Fulham as the game ended in a 3-0 scoreline.
Following their recent win, Man City are now 17 points ahead of Man Utd who are the closest club to them on the EPL table.
Man City were held down during the first half as their star forward Sergio Aguero return to Pep Guardiola’s starting line-up for just the fifth time across all competitions this season.
There was a turnaround in the second half as John Stones put the Citizens in front before Brazil international, Gabriel Jesus doubled the lead for Guardiola’s men.
Aguero made it a third after he scored from the penalty spot, putting the result well out of reach for Fulham.
The latest match outcome has placed City on 71 points from 30 matches, ahead of second-placed Man United.
However, Fulham remains stuck in a relegation battle at the 18th spot.
With the look of things, Man City are the favourite to win the title this season.
