Legendary manager reveals the Chelsea player that has impress him at Euro 2020

Chelsea are well represented at the ongoing Euro 2020 tournament, but one of the blues players has caught the eye of fans and legendary manager Fabio Capello.

Fabio Capello has been impressed with the performance of Jorginho for Italy in the Euro 2020, describing him as Azzurri’s “main man”.

Jorginho has been in terrific form for Italy ever since the tournament started, and he continued this form during their round of 16 victories over Austria.

The former Napoli midfielder has become Roberto Mancini’s most preferred option for the holding midfield, with Italy still boasting Marco Verratti, Manuel Locatelli, and Nicolo Barella.

Jorginho has been key to Italy defence ever since the tournament started, and Capello, who initially doubted his defensive ability, has now admitted that he has been impressed by the midfielder.

Speaking with Corriere dello Sport, Capello stated that Jorginho is Mancini’s main man despite being a player who didn’t convince him ultimately.

However, Capello noted that in the matches he saw Jorginho live, he observed him, and he is a midfielder who knows how to stay on the field and direct the team.

Capello added that the fact that Italy didn’t concede many goals is due to his ability to intervene at the right time in the opponents’ actions.
