Jorginho wants to remain at Chelsea this summer
Chelsea midfielder and Italy international Jorginho is said to want to remain at the club this summer.
Jorginho, who was a key player for Chelsea last summer is entering the final 12 months of his current contract.
There are no details as to whether he would sign a new deal with the Blues yet.
Nevertheless, Jorginho’s agent Joao Santos claims that his client is keen to remain at Chelsea and put pen to paper on a new deal.
Speaking to Tuttomercatoweb, Santos said: “Chelsea are the priority (for Jorginho). His contract will expire in 2023, I think we will talk about the renewal from September”.
This is coming three months after he claimed that Jorginho ‘dreams’ of returning to Serie A amid interest from the likes of Juventus, AC Milan and former club Napoli.
Jorginho is one of 10 Blues players who have just a year remaining on their contracts.
Others are Marcos Alonso, Cesar Azpilicueta, Thiago Silva, N’Golo Kante and Ross Barkley.
