I am not here for vacation – Ronaldo hints on how he would stay at Old Trafford
Former Juventus and now Man Utd striker Cristiano Ronaldo in a recent statement has dropped an hint on how he would be staying at Old Trafford.
Ronaldo, 36, in his statement revealed he could remain with the Red Devils for the next three to four years, this perhaps means he hopes to retire at Old Trafford.
The Portugal international stressed that he has returned to the club to “win again” and not on vacation.
Recall that Ronaldo returned to Old Trafford after 12 years on a two-year deal with the option for one more.
Ronaldo made this known when he was interviewed by former team-mate Wes Brown on MUTV ahead of his potential second debut against Newcastle on Saturday.
Ronaldo said: “I am not here for a vacation. As I told you, before was good, winning important things and I wore the shirt before many years ago, but I am here to win again.”
He added that himself and the rest of Man Utd squad are capable and it is a good chance for him, for the supporters, and for the club.
“I am ready and I think I will be a huge thing in the next three or four years,” Ronaldo added.
