How Chelsea will perform next season

Chelsea have been tremendous this season, from dropping to the 9th spot this season under former coach, Frank Lampard to retaining back a spot in the top four on the Premier League table under new coach, Thomas Tuchel.

The Blues went on to win the UEFA champions league trophy for the second time under Tuchel.

With their top performance this season, Chelsea will be among the top football clubs to lookout for not just in England but in Europe next season.

In a latest statement, sport pundit, Danny Murphy expect the Blues to be positive next season as he expect Tuchel to add new players to the squad.

Speaking to talkSPORT, Murphy said: “I think it’s positive times for Chelsea.

“It looks harmonious, most of the players look happy. You will always have a few players, even at a great club, who are looking for an exit because they can tell they are not part of it.

“When you have a wonderful squad like Chelsea there is always going to be a turnaround of a few players.

“He [Thomas Tuchel] will bring one or two in of his own. I expect them to have a good go at the title next season.”
