He is a fantastic player – Mourinho hails this Man City player

AS Roma coach, Jose Mourinho in a recent statement has applauded Man City star, Ruben Dais as he named him the best centre-back in the world.

Recall that the 24-year-old, who joined Man City from Benfica in September was named the Premier League player of the season after he led Man City to victory in the tournament.

Mourinho stressed that his move from Benfica to Man City has boosted his experience which would come in handy for Portugal in the Euro 2020 to commence on the 11th of June.

“Ruben Dias is the best centre-back in the world now,” Mourinho told The Sun.

“With his move to the Premier League with Manchester City, he’s getting a different level of knowledge.

“He’s a fantastic centre-back. And the one next to him, Pepe, is a 38-year-old with a lot of experience.

“That can be a strength for Portugal as they then have lots of talented players in attack.”

Portugal are in the same group with France which means they would need all the quality players they can gather so as to make it out of the group stage and win the Euro 2020 cup if possible.
