Former Chelsea striker says many teams want to sign him
Former Chelsea striker Alvaro Morata in a statement has said several teams have shown interest to sign him this summer.
The reports have revealed that the 29-year-old would be heading back to Spanish club Atletico Madrid after Italian side Juventus opted against making his two-year loan deal permanent for around €35m (£29.3m).
As of now, the future looks bleak for Morata as he is unlikely to get game time in Spain but he hopes he can play for a club where he feels ‘loved’ and ‘valued’ as he did at Turin.
“I have quite a few options. It’s not up to me. The good thing is that there are several teams,” Morata told journalist Matteo Moretto.
“I would like to be where they love me the most and value me. In the last two places I’ve been I’ve been very happy because there are wonderful people.”
Aside from playing for Real Madrid, Atletico Madrid, and Juventus, Morata has also played in the Premier League with Chelsea.
The striker had been linked with moves to Arsenal and Barcelona, who are ready to make an offer for him.
