Former Chelsea star hails one player during the Blues game vs Everton
Former Chelsea star, Pat Nevin, has applauded Alex Iwobi for his impressive form in the first half of Everton’s Premier League 2-2 draw against the Blues over the weekend.
Nevin in his statement revealed Iwobi stood out during the match, stressing that his physicality and pace helped the Toffees against Chelsea.
The match between Chelsea and Everton saw goals from Joao Felix, Abdoulaye Doucoure, Ellis Simms, and Kai Havertz.

“At the moment [first-half], the player who is standing out for me for Everton is Alex Iwobi. Really really impressive,” Nevin said on BBC Radio 5 Sports Extra.
“Over on the right-hand side, he has had to do all of the defending, but his physicality and pace have really helped the team so far.”
Meanwhile, the international break is currently on and Chelsea will not return to action until April 1 when they face Aston Villa in the Premier League.
