Former Chelsea manager, Graham Potter is close to landing a new job.

Potter is said to be close to reaching an agreement to become the next manager of French Ligue 1 club, OGC Nice.

The Daily Mail reported that Potter, who also once coached Brighton has expressed interest in taking over Nice.

Nice board members are also said excited to bring Potter in, as both sides have met each other.

Nice, owned by Sir Jim Ratcliffe, have had a decent season in French Ligue 1 and are currently in ninth position.

Recall that Potter was sacked by Chelsea a few months ago and was replaced by interim manager Frank Lampard

The Englishman was at Stamford Bridge for less than seven months and had a win rate of under 39 per cent, the lowest among any permanent manager in Chelsea’s history.

Meanwhile, Chelsea’s new permanent manager Mauricio Pochettino is expected to take over from Lampard at the end of this season.
