Favourite between Chelsea and Arsenal to sign Ecuador star revealed

Football transfer guru Fabrizio Romano in a recent statement gave an update on the future of Chelsea and Arsenal target Moises Caicedo.

According to Romano, the Blues are favourites to sign Caicedo this summer as they are frontrunners in the race for the Ecuador international.

The Italian transfer expert said the Blues have been in talks with the Brighton midfielder for weeks.

Romano disclosed this in a post via his Twitter handle.

He tweeted: “Chelsea are working hard on Moises Caicedo deal. Talks have been taking place for weeks. Nothing done yet.

“It has always been Chelsea frontrunners, despite rumours of Arsenal bid in the last weeks. Arsenal’s focus remains on Declan Rice and Havertz.”

Caicedo may, however, consider his chances of playing in the UEFA Champions League next season and this offer wouldn’t be available for him at Stamford Bridge as the Blues will not be playing European football next season.
