EPL: Why Chelsea will fail to finish in the top four

Former Tottenham Hotspur midfielder, Jamie O’Hara has tipped Chelsea to finish outside the Premier League top-four and not qualify for next season’s UEFA Champions League.

Chelsea are currently seated at the 9th spot on the EPL table, with 7 points away from 4th placed Man Utd.

Their performance have continued to dip as they also failed to beat Nottingham Forest on Sunday as they drew 1-1 in an away Premier League tie.

Speaking ahead of Chelsea’s next Premier League tie with Manchester City on Thursday, O’Hara slammed the west London side as he insisted that they look really boring.

“I don’t think they [Chelsea] are going to make the top four this season. I think they look really average, really boring as well,” O’Hara told talkSPORT.

“I really was not impressed by them. They were bang average [against Nottingham Forest]. They don’t really look like they are going to cut you open. They don’t look like they are going to hurt you,” he added.
