Chelsea youngster finally reveals why loan spell at current club suits him

Chelsea youngster Billy Gilmour has finally revealed why his current one year loan deal at Norwich is the best option for him ahead of the new season.

Gilmour left Chelsea this summer to join Norwich who promoted back to the Premier League last season.

The move came as a surprise to some fans with Gilmour tipped to have a breakthrough season for the Blues this year after several standout performances last season.

Gilmour impressive season continued at Euro 2020 as he was voted Man of the match in Scotland game against England.

Speaking to Sky Sports, Gilmour has now revealed why he left Chelsea and he choosed Norwich City.

Gilmour stated that he had some options but for him Norwich was first choice.

According to Gilmour, he came to the club, spoke to the boss, and everything the manager said sounded really good, the way he wants to play, the way he sees me fitting in.

That was what made his choice easier to come to Norwich..

Gilmour added that Norwich play football that suits his style, playing out from the back and wanting to keep the ball and for him, this was the perfect opportunity.

He added that this is his kind of style of play where he want to play out, get on the ball and make things happen.
