Chelsea warned about signing Osimhen

Former football star William Gallas has sent Chelsea a message to Chelsea about their top target Victor Osimhen who they want to sign this summer.

Gallas in a statement issued warnings to the Blues over their bid to sign the Napoli striker.

It is no longer news that Osimhen is at the top of the list for the Blues for the upcoming summer transfer window but Gallas does not believe the Nigeria international will solve all of the team’s ongoing problems.

“Victor Osimhen to Chelsea? One player won’t make the difference and change things around for Chelsea,” Gallas said to Lord Ping.

“Even if they buy one striker, you have to be sure the players around him have the quality to supply that striker.

“The squad is very young. So next year we may see an improvement in the team and they might compete for the Premier League.

“We have to see how many goals Nicolas Jackson will score, he has eight [in the Premier League] at the moment. If Jackson cannot reach 15 Premier League goals or more, then Chelsea need a top striker, because at the moment they don’t have it.”
