Chelsea linked with shocking moves for Arsenal striker

A recent report via Sky Sports has linked Chelsea with moves for Arsenal striker Folarin Balogun this summer transfer window.

There are, however, speculations that the Blues have not made an official offer for Balogun.

Balogun, who spent last season on loan at Ligue 1 side Stade Reims put up an impressive display at the French club.

The striker scored 22 goals and created three assists in 39 appearances across competitions for the French club.

Despite his top form, Arsenal seems not to be interested in keeping him in Mikel Arteta’s squad.

The American striker didn’t make any appearance in the Gunners’ pre-season and is now expected to leave the Emirates before this summer window closes.

There are already reports that AS Monaco are in talks with Arsenal over Balogun and are expected to return to the table with an improved offer, as the Premier League club is insisting on their £50m valuation.
