Chelsea legendary defender takes swipe at Andreas Christensen on social media
Former Chelsea defender John Terry has shared how surprised he was to see Andreas Christensen’s role in Aston Villa’s equaliser against the Blues on Monday.
Andreas Christensen was one of the six changes Frank Lampard made on Monday night and it was a night not to forget for Frank Lampard and his team.
The Denmark international partnered Antonio Rudiger in defence and things got a good start when Oliver Giroud scored a decisive header.
However, El Ghazi ensured that Aston Villa left with a point after scoring a great goal that had happened just minutes after Christensen collided with Jack Grealish in the middle of the pitch.
The Chelsea defender failed to get back to his feet quickly as he was expecting a whistle from the referee, a whistle that never came.
Terry who was returning to Stamford Bridge with Aston Villa took to his official Instagram account to celebrate with fans as he heaps praise on his team as well as urging them to stay for their next match.
However, his post attracted a lot of reactions from fans as one who seems to be a Chelsea supporter noted that Terry would have been raging at that equaliser.
Reacting to this, Terry noted that Christensen should have got up.
