Chelsea defender opens up on how Tuchel has changed the team
Chelsea youngster Recce James has nothing but words of praise for team manager Thomas Tuchel as he opens up on how the German has transformed the side.
The blues were on the verge of a breakdown when Thomas Tuchel took over from Frank Lampard as they were languishing in ninth place.
However, a run of consecutive victory in the league have seen Chelsea is used to fourth on the league table as well as having a foot in the next phase of the UEFA Champions League after a 1-0 victory over Atletico Madrid in their first-leg clash.
James who have also been offered a new role under the German tactician have now revealed how the former Borussia Dortmund and Paris Saint-Germain manager has influenced the side.
Speaking with the official club’s website, James stated that Tuchel is very funny and very passionate because he wants to win.
James pinpointed that Tuchel wants the best for his players and his team, and that shows when he’s on the sideline kicking and heading every ball, everyone gets on well and it’s a great group.
The England international added that the
style of play that Tuchel brought in was evident and clear for the team to understand and the more they play together, the stronger the team will be noted that game by game, they will get better and build together.
