Chalobah speaks on Chelsea last two games before World Cup
Following Chelsea’s defeat to Arsenal over the weekend, the Blues have two games left until the start of the world cup in Qatar later this month.
Chelsea will get the opportunity to bounce back from their weekend defeat to Arsenal with two games coming up in the next seven days.
The Blues will travel to Etihad Stadium to face Manchester City in the Carabao Cup and Newcastle in the Premier League.
Chalobah stressed that positive results from the two next fixtures are more important given they are the final matches before the pause for the World Cup, with the Academy graduate aiming to help Chelsea head into the break on a winning note.
‘The manager said to us in the dressing room afterwards that we’ve got to pick our heads up and we can’t dwell on this result,’ Trev added.
‘We’ve got two big games now before the World Cup break and it’s really important we head into the break in a positive frame of mind.
‘The Newcastle game in the Premier League next weekend is really important for us. It’s the final fixture before the World Cup break and we need to ensure we’re in a good position.’
