Caicedo speaks on incoming Chelsea star

Brighton star, Moises Caicedo, has reacted to the Blues’ decision to sign Kendry Paez this summer transfer window.

This comes after Ecuadorian club, Independiente del Valle confirmed reaching an agreement with the West London side for the sale of young midfielder Paez.

He, would, however, not move to Chelsea until 2025, when he turns 18.

Speaking on Paez, Caicedo described the youngster as talented as he added that he is a star.

“Kendry is a star. Watching him play is a pleasure. It is good to see those talents in Ecuador,” Caicedo said (via 90min).

“We know that we have good youth. I am very happy for him; for everything he is doing, for how he is working. May he continue on the right path and go far. He has the talent.”

Meanwhile, Caicedo is close to sealing a move to Chelsea this summer.
