Arsenal revive interest to bring 27-year-old Italian to Emirate Stadium
Premier League side Arsenal have reportedly identified 27-year-old Italian striker Andrea Belotti as a great addition to their side during this summer transfer window.
Arsenal are currently in the market for top class players that will help them compete with Chelsea, Manchester United, Manchester City and Liverpool next season.
Mikel Arteta’s team had a season to forget last time out and their aim is to get back to European competition, which they won’t be playing next season.
Arsenal have been linked with some players across clubs in Europe and Belotti has joined the long list.
The Torino forward has reportedly emerged as a summer transfer target for Arsenal having contributes 105 goals from 227 appearances in all competitions.
Belotti currently has one year left on his current deal with Torino and the Italian club might be forced to cash out on him so they don’t lose him for free next season.
According to Tuttosport, Arsenal are one of a number of teams who are monitoring his situation at Torino.
The report also claimed that AC Milan, Napoli, Roma and Fiorentina are also interested in a player who might also be thinking of staying in the Italian league where he has been ever since he started his football career.
