Arsenal handed opportunity to sign former Real Madrid star from Saudi club

Amid the ongoing January transfer window, Arsenal have been offered the chance to sign former Real Madrid star Karim Benzema from Saudi Arabia club Al-Ittihad.
This comes as a recent report via MailOnline claimed Benzema was offered to the Premier League North London club earlier this month.
However, the Gunners are considering whether to sign a ‘versatile defender’ before the transfer deadline next Wednesday.
It is no longer news that Benzema wants to leave Al-Ittihad after spending less than a year in the Saudi Pro League.
The former Real Madrid captain has been offered to top European clubs, including Arsenal.
Amid the report of Arsenal signing a new striker this month, their manager Mikel Arteta in a recent statement had said the club may end up not signing a new player in January.
Arsenal may wait till the summer transfer window to welcome a new player at Emirates Stadium, especially after their impressive win over Crystal Palace.
