Arsenal have had a difficult time in the premier league this season and they are still struggling to understand their style of game under coach Mikel Arteta.

The recent loss to neighbouring club and rival, Tottenham Hotspur may have increased the pressure to perform in their subsequent matches.

If Arteta fails to coach the Gunners to wins in their next games, he could be out of Emirate stadium.

Watford captain, Troy Deeney in a statement has  stated that Arteta could be sacked if the club lose to Burnley in the Premier League on December 13.

Deeney stated that Arteta is under pressure to perform and he hopes he gets his team ready for a win in order to save his job.

He told talkSport, “I think he [Arteta] has to come under criticism, ultimately because of where they are. “For me, and I’ll go out on a limb here, if they lose [to Burnley] he is massively under pressure.”

Arsenal lost to Tottenham with in a 2-0 scoreline.
