The January transfer window could be a time for German midfielder, Mesut Ozil to finally leave Emirate stadium.

Ozil who has lacked game time under Mikel Arteta in all competition this season have been getting offers from clubs who are ready to sign him in January.

Recall that this week, a report from Turkey claimed Fenebanche are ready to sign the German midfielder. Well, a latest report has calmed that American football club, DC United are also leading the race to sign the 32-year-old.

While Arsenal are willing to let him go, it will now be left for football clubs to make the move in January by submitting bids for him.

Ozil has lost game time under Arteta since the lockdown was lifted.

Arsenal need a creative midfielder in their squad but rather than make use of Ozil, who is experienced, the Gunners are making moves to sign a new midfielder instead.

All of these are pointers that he is no longer wanted in the team.
