Arsenal are prepared for another busy day in the transfer window as they hope to let go of some players in their squad but don’t be surprised if another player is added to the squad.

With Arsenal fans still hoping Arteta get things right after the international break, Lyon midfielder Bruno Guimaraes has confirmed that the gunners made contact with his agent.

Arsenal were linked with Bruno Guimaraes in the early days of the transfer window but the 23-year-old decided to stay with Lyon.

Guimaraes has now revealed why he made that decisive decision while speaking to Globo.
He stated that Arsenal approached his agent, but there was no offer.

According to Guimaraes, he has made his aim clear to Juninho and it is to win a title with Lyon.

He noted that the fans have not had one for a long time but they have the Coupe de France, the Europa League and the league.
Guimaraes added that it is difficult with the level that PSG are at, but anything can happen as he aims to win a title in Lyon, but he has never hidden his desire to play in the Premier League.

Guimaraes has started three of his side’s four games in the 2021-22 Ligue 1 season and has registered three goals and two assists in 49 matches for Les Gones.
