Arsenal new signing described as an exceptional player by Serie A ace

Premier League side Arsenal continued their business in the transfer window by agreeing a deal with Real Madrid for the signature of Martin Odegaard.

Odegaard during a six month loan spell with Arsenal last season was able to convince Mikel Arteta and he became their top target this summer.

On Friday, the Gunners announced Odegaard’s return to the Emirates Stadium, this time on a permanent deal that cost Arsenal an initial £30million plus bonuses worth around £4million.

With the deal now signed and sealed, Odegaard has been described by Norway teammate Morten Thorsby as an exceptional player.

Thorsby who is currently playing for Sampdoria predicts that his international captain has what it takes to be a success for the Gunners.

Speaking with Sky Sports News, Thorsby stated that Odegaard is an exceptional player and a great signing for Arsenal.

Thorsby noted that Odegaard is still young and has come such a long way.

According to Thorsby, he does not see any limits to Odegaard’s talent as he’s a very serious player who wants to become better.

Odegaard will not be making his debut for Arsenal when they face Chelsea at the Emirates on Sunday afternoon in a 4pm kickoff.
