Chelsea star compared to Grealish and Maddison

Former Chelsea star, Joe Cole has applauded the club’s summer signing Cole Palmer, who he compared to Manchester City’s Jack Grealish and Tottenham Hotspur’s James Maddison.

According to Cole, Palmer has a lovely balance, describing him as a top player.

The Blues signed Palmer from Manchester City during the recently concluded summer transfer window.

He can play as a No. 10 as well as out wide just like Grealish and Maddison.

“He is the Jack Grealish, James Maddison type,” Palmer told TNT Sports, via Football London.

“He’s got lovely balance, a lovely left foot. I have watched him mainly playing off the right, coming in on his left foot.

“But he could play as a 10. He can float anywhere in the final third, but he is just a player that makes an impact. He is a top, top player.”

Meanwhile, Chelsea will return to action this weekend when they face Aston Villa.
