Cavani reveals what he would like to do before leaving Old Trafford
Uruguay international, Edison Cavani moved to Man Utd as a free agent last transfer window and since joining he has become an instrumental player in the Red Devils squad.
However, as the season draws to a close so does Cavani’s time at Old Trafford as the Red Devils only signed him on a short term deal.
Man Utd have the option to extend his contract for another year, however, considering his age Man Utd would most likely sign a new striker in the soon to commence transfer window.
If the Red Devils should sign a new striker in the summer, Cavani would make moves to leave as he wouldn’t want be a backup player
Moreover, there are already growing speculation linking Cavani with a switch to Boca Juniors.
Cavani, in an interview with Inside United, spoke about the role he fills and what he hopes to achieve in Manchester.
He said: “Honestly speaking, I don’t really like to just give out advice.”
In a statement, he said he would love to leave something positive at Old Trafford.
”If they want to take something I say or do and take it as an example to use in their future development, then I would be very happy, because it’s important to leave something positive behind,” he said.
