Youngster sends message to Chelsea after completing move to Italian giant

Fikayo Tomori can now be referred to as a former Chelsea player as the young defender finally complete a permanent move to the Italian side, AC Milan.

The England international failed to break into the Chelsea team last season and was sent on a 6 months loan move to AC Milan where he made an instant impact.

Tomori became one of AC Milan best performers, helping them secure a place in next season UEFA champions league.

After weeks of negotiations between Chelsea and AC Milan, the future of Tomori was sorted out some hours ago as he joins the Serie A side on a four-year deal.

AC Milan exercised the option to sign him permanently, a move that has sparked celebrations by fans of the Italian club.

Having become one of the youngsters that will leave Stamford Bridge in search of first-team football, Tomori appreciated the club for the role they played in his development.

Tomori posted a message of thanks on his Twitter page, quote tweeting the tweet from Chelsea’s official Twitter account confirming his exit.

In a short message, he said: “Thank you for everything,” accompanied with a blue love heart emoji.

Tomori made 27 appearances for Chelsea, scoring one goal, which was a wonder-strike in a thrilling 5-2 victory over Wolverhampton Wanderers at Molineux in September 2019.
