England International Declan Rice has been urged to prioritise a move to Liverpool over the likes of Chelsea, Arsenal, among others.
This is coming as Rice is expected to leave West Ham United at the end of the campaign.
However, his next club remains unknown as a number of clubs are already showing interest in securing his services at the end of the season.
EPL top clubs Arsenal, Chelsea, Man United and Liverpool have all been linked with the 24-year-old.
But former England star John Barnes has advised Rice to ignore interest from Arsenal and Chelsea and join Liverpool instead.
Barnes in his statement said Jurgen Klopp’s side is ideal for the midfielder, adding that he would get an important role for the Reds.
“Any top-four club in the Premier League would want Declan Rice. He would improve every top side in the league because he is the best defensive midfielder out there,” Barnes told BonusCodeBets.
“I think that Liverpool would be ideal for him because he is the player that they actually need. So he knows that he will get a very important role on the team.
“But of course, Chelsea, Man United and Arsenal would also love to have him in their squad, so he will have a lot of options when he is going to pick his next club,” he said.
