A Lionel Messi’s move to Paris Saints Germain PSG has surfaced in the media after Brazil star, Neymar Jr. revealed he would love to play alongside the Argentine star once again.

In a post-match after helping PSG win Man Utd in the UCL, Neymar revealed his desire to play with Messi again.

He to ESPN: “What I want most of all is to play with Messi again, to be able to enjoy him once again on the pitch.”

Neymar added that he doesn’t mind if Messi takes his place at PSG as he would be satisfied so long they play together.

“He can play in my place, I have no problem with that! But I want to play with him next year, for sure. We have to do it next season,” the Brazil star said.

His latest statement comes as a surprise as one of the main reasons Neymar left Barcelona in the first place was because of Messi. The Brazilian had said he was tired of playing second fiddle.

Messi has said he is ready to leave Camp Nou, this means any club interested in him could sign him for free in the summer when his contract expires.

However, French football journalist Julien Laurens believes PSG would still be unable to sign Messi except they sell the duo Kylian Mbappe and Angel Di Maria considering the financial fair play rule.

According to BBC Sports, Laurens said, “Financially you can’t have Messi, Neymar, Mbappe,” he said. “It’s impossible. I’m not sure you can have Messi, Neymar and Di Maria, who is out of contract at the end of season. So maybe let Di Maria go, sell Mbappe to Real Madrid and then bring Messi in.

“But there are a lot of financial figures – financial fair play – they’d have to work out. But a lot of people in the capital are starting to dream.

“I think if Neymar asks for the owners to sit and listen to him, he will. It’s still a long way away.”
