Why Man Utd can’t win the EPL title with Cavani next season

While Man Utd can’t win the EPL title this season however they have shown potentials that they have what it takes to emerge winner next season.

The Red Devils are in the top four this season and are close to being declared the winner of the Uefa Europa League this season.

However, ahead of next season, former football star and pundit, Roy Keane has revealed the only way the Red Devils can win the Premier League title next season.

According to Keane, Man Utd can’t win the title with Edison Cavani in their squad.

He thinks that Man Utd should sign a new striker in the soon to commence summer transfer window as he believes age is no longer on the side of the Uruguay international.

However, since moving to Old Trafford, Cavani has impressed and he recently scored a brace as they beat Roma 6-2 in the Europa League in midweek.

The Uruguay striker moved to Man Utd on a 12-month contract, but there is the option to extend for a further year and many believe the striker has earned the right to get an extension.

However, Keane insists Cavani is past his best and United should consider other options in the transfer window.

”He’s 34, if you’re hanging your hat on Cavani next year to getting United back to winning league titles, forget about it,” he told Skysports.
