Former Chelsea and Real Madrid defender, Antonio Rudiger, has said he’s looking forward to taking on the Blues in the Champions League quarter-final.
Recall that the draw for the last eight of the competition was concluded on Friday in Nyon.
And it saw the Blues paired against Real Madrid, the defending champions.
The match will see Rudiger return to Stamford Bridge for the first time since he left for Spain in the summer.
“This will be very special – Can’t wait to see so many friends again,” Rudiger posted on social media.
This is the third time in a row that Chelsea play Real Madrid in Europe’s top competition.
Meanwhile, Chelsea will return to action this weekend in the Premier League when they face Everton.
