Tuchel hints on Chelsea signing at least on player in January

Chelsea coach and Germany international Thomas Tuchel has hinted on his side, signing at least on the player before the end of the January transfer window.

With seven days left to the end of the January transfer window, the Blues are yet to make a significant signing.

While Chelsea have been linked with moves for different potentials, they have been unable to sign at least one.

It is no longer news that Chelsea are keen on signing a new left-back that would come in as a backup for Ben Chilwell, who is out of the team for the rest of the season owing to injury.

Chelsea’s attempt to reach Palmieri Emerson has proven challenging as Lyon have refused to let him leave this month.

Apart from a left back, Chelsea have been linked with moves for Ousmane Dembele, but it is uncertain that the Blues will complete a move for him month.

When asked about potential signings as the end of the window approaches, Tuchel said: “I cannot say no to it. Also, I am not convinced it is a clear yes.”
