Manchester United have opened talks over a potential deal to sign Alassane Plea from Borussia Monchengladbach, claims a report.
_ Sky Deutschland_ claims that United boss Ed Woodward has reached the player’s representatives to try things out on a potential move to Old Trafford.
The 27-year-old striker has contributed 15 goals in 22 Bundesliga appearances this season, scoring multiple times himself and creating seven more and his form has brought attentions of many clubs across Europe.
Arsenal and Tottenham Hotspur are likewise thought to be keen on the forward.
Alassane Plea is contracted to Monchengladbach until 2023, with the German outfit value the talented star at around £21m.
