Transfer Talk: Arsenal close to signing Feyenoord star
Mikel Arteta is near making two transfers at Arsenal.
Arsenal manager Mikel Arteta is searching to replace Mesut Ozil and has identified Feyenoord’s Orkun Kokcu.
Mundo Deportivo state that Arteta and Arsenal are in ‘pole position’ to sign the 19-year-old.
Arsenal’s enthusiasm for the Turkey U21 attacking midfielder has been all around documented.
Feyenoord manager Advocaat disclosed to Fox Sports in March that he understands the rumours Arsenal being intrigued in* Kocku *to be “valid” but says that to the extent he realizes Arsenal have not sent anybody to the Netherlands.

A month ago Dutch publication Voetball International (via Metro) affirmed that ‘Feyenoord will acknowledge a £23million offer for Kokcu.’
Arsenal are additionally keen on Borussia Monchengladbach centre-back Nico Elvedi.
The 23-year-old defender’s contract is set to lapse in June 2021 and Le10sport have Arsenal as leaders for his signature and state an offer of £25million would get the job done.
