Chelsea redouble their pursuit for Bayer Leverkusen playmaker

Chelsea have supposedly increased their determination to wrap up a deal for sought after attacker Kai Havertz following the completion of Bayer Leverkusen’s season.

The Germany playmaker scored a late penalty in Bayer Leverkusen’s 4-2 loss to Bayern Munich in Saturday’s DFB-Pokal last at the Olympiastadion.

Kai Havertz is said to have been distinguished by Frank Lampard as the missing piece to the riddle, with Chelsea already signed Timo Werner and Hakim Ziyech ahead of next season.

As indicated by Ivisionsport, the Blues would prefer not to waste time to sign the talented youngster since his season is formally finished.
