Manchester United are apparently not surrendering in their quest for Jadon Sancho, and the Borussia Dortmund man remains their main target in the summer transfer window.
Jadon Sancho has been tipped to move to Old Trafford for a while at this point, however Manchester United have apparently been put off by Borussia Dortmund’s £108m asking price for the youngster, and the German outfit are not ready to acknowledge a lower figure.
Regardless of having reached an impasse over a fee, Manchester United are apparently still in talks with attacker’s agent as they hope to pull a deal off somehow this summer.
Dharmesh Sheth disclosed to Sky Sports News: “If take what Borussia Dortmund are stating on face value – there is no deal. That is the end, that is conclusive.
I don’t think Manchester United feel that it is conclusive. They are still haggling with Jadon Sancho’s agent about personal terms and agent fees.
When they have done that, they will go to Borussia Dortmund with an offer and ideally observe him agitate for a move to Manchester United.
Most definitely, he remains the No 1 target – they would like to sign Jadon Sancho this summer – I don’t feel that it is totally dead.
Should Manchester United be compelled to search out less expensive options to Jadon Sancho, the Red Devils could probably reignite their enthusiasm for Inter Milan’s Ivan Perisic.
